Players have often complained that they’re too weak, too muddy, and just don’t sound good. Tele® neck pickups are finicky creatures. I copied these details from their website when I got the pickups. I see - so the TK neck doesn't have the nickel cover? It's brass? That might explain why I like the TV set - I like a more open sound from a Tele neck pickup, & I understand that nickel covers are the way to go to get that?Īs for the "improved" claim, that comes from DiMarzio.
